| Amari Boulevard - good value, mid-range hotel in excellent location. Just a couple of minutes away from the airport expressway exit and right on top of the Sukhumvit night market. Benefits from being a short walk to the newly opened Nana skytrain station and a short walk back from the infamous Nana Plaza go-go dancing scene. New wing added 1992 but still retains a personal touch often lacking in hotels of comparable size. Rooms, recently refurbished, have a light modern style and feature good sized bathrooms and small terraces. Rooftop pool and sundeck on sixth floor provide attractive setting for casual meals and drinks. Other features include a popular lobby piano bar - good snacks - and a compact but well equipped modern fitness centre. Outdoor beer garden flourishes from November through April and Thai House restaurant opposite offers daily Thai cooking classes. |

Season- outdoor terrace restaurant on the sixth floor overlooking the pool. An attractive wooden deck with cream parasols and tropical plants provides the backdrop for delicious Thai cuisine in a casual setting. Excellent fresh crab in curry sauce a specialty. Relaxed ambience enhanced by the sound of water cascading from pool to pool at the fountain entrance. Open evenings only except during the rainy season. Thai classical dancing and music each Thursday & Sunday evening. |
