Golden Beach - one of a number of hotels separated from Cha Am beach by the narrow beachfront road but centrally located in the heart of the bar/restaurant and shopping area. Used to be a condominium which possibly accounts for the hotel having some of the best suites in town - 97 sq metres with large living room having stylish, modern fittings, terrace and kitchen area. Standard rooms are big enough to also accommodate a sofa as well as double bed etc, have similar modern fittings, but come with only a small tv and shower room only. Safety boxes in reception rather than room. Amenities include swimming pool, sauna, minimal fitness centre and comfortable coffee shop/restaurant. Hotel combines good location with strong value for money.
