Lotus Pang Suan Kaew - large, relatively new hotel somewhat lacking in ambience but popular amongst Thais and tourists alike for its all round facilities and competitive pricing. Located towards the mountain of Doi Suthep the hotel is attached to a comprehensive shopping plaza and is a short tuk-tuk trip to the night bazaar. Lobby dominated by thirteen storey atrium. Superior are slightly smaller, decorated in a more modern, rather than traditional Thai, style and have shower only. Facilities include small but modern fitness centre. Note to swimmers - the pool is truly near olympic size!
