The rooms! - hotel bedrooms are pretty much the same everywhere. Well not here! The Peninsulas are at least 46 sq metres and with only 12 rooms per floor all have stunning river vistas from huge mutifaceted windows. Polished wooden floors and deep beige carpeting contain a combination of objets d'art and modern appliances - built in silent fax, cd player, dataport, mood lighting, etc. Bathrooms feature a tv at the end of the tub plus a hands free telephone to talk whilst you soak. Etched glass doors lead to seperate loo and a corner shower unit with marble seat. Sinks and mirrors on both sides of the room mean no arguments in the morning |
