Highlight

Thai Boxing- a major part of the hotels attraction is its proximity to many of Bangkoks historical sights - the Golden Mount for example is a short walk away. On a different level is the nearby Rajdamnoen Boxing Stadium frequented by fans of the Muay Thai style of boxing that allows contact between almost any part of the body. Bouts are preceded by the boxers ceremonial tributes to Buddha and enhanced by the playing of traditional music throughout the contest. The $5-$15 entrance fee provides a colourful spectacle with plenty of passion, and an opportunity to experience a national sport that can empty the streets when major bouts are televised.
