| Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit - just round the corner from our office so handy if anyone has any complaints. None so far though from one of Bangkoks smartest and newest five star hotels that rises 33 storeys above this popular residential and shopping area. Rooms are elegantly appointed ;each has a spacious bathroom angled off the bedroom, and the entrance hall and walk in wardrobe combine to create a very un-boxlike appearance. Beautiful marble bathrooms feature a seperate walk in shower unit. Great spa and freeform pool (with underwater music!) are laid out in a peaceful Oriental garden that also provides the setting for a casual Thai restaurant. Three other restaurants provide first class Thai, Californian and Italian cuisine. Complimentary drinks provided at state of the art fitness centre. An elegant hotel, tastefully finished in cool marble and light woods. |
